This year hasn't been a good one and has been really tough for us so far..... Some of our volunteers have used their time training with us to their best advantage and now after being long term unemployed have found paid employment Although we are very proud of the them and delighted for them, we are sorry to lose them in equal measures. We also have been plagued by serious illness and bereavement among some of our volunteers. All this has left us very, very short of staff. We still have to look after over 100 turtles in our care but we also need the funds and the work is just piling up and because we haven't time to tag, hang and steam the clothes so is the stock.
