This is my lovely Weissenborn lap slide, hollow neck acoustic guitar, finished in a stunning Zebra Wood. You play this laying it on your lap like a square neck dobro. Its very light and produces a brilliant tone. The fret lines are guides only, as you do not fret this instrument- you play it with a slide bar or a bottle neck. For an example check out Gerry Douglas on You Tube. It also has a nice quality hard case which is worth around £40 included in the price. New this instrument was around £450 PLUS the case. This one is in excellent condition so it represents a great saving from the new price! Collection is from Shadforth in Durham and its cash on collection only. Very rare instrument so dont miss it !
