Christopher is 2 year-old, long-haired, brown, golden and mackerel, male Siberian cat of an unusually large size for his age. Distinguishing features include a big, puffy mane, fluffy cheeks, stocky legs, huge paws and a huge bushy tail. He is exceptionally friendly with people he knows, but tentative around strangers and might run off if approached. His territory—as far as we know—includes the whole of Byland Close and the surrounding wood, up to the top of May Street and Laburnum Avenue. We last saw him in the very early hours of Saturday (April 18th) morning. Neighbours saw him at around 7am and then again in the afternoon, but we haven’t seen him since, which is highly unusual. He seems to have made his way across the train tracks towards Flass Vale and we have had sightings of him on Flass Street and possibly also in Wharton Park, right at the point where the viaduct comes into the station. Recent Sightings: 18th April 7am & 3pm: Byland Close Afternoon: Wharton Park 10.30pm: Flass Street (top) 19th April 3pm: Flass Street (bottom) Other areas where he has been seen recently: Farnley Ridge (a couple of days prior to 19th April) Please contact us if you have seen him or have managed to find.
