For Sale Please no offers as that is the price T500 Reflux Still (very little use) The still is complete and ready to go comes with 5 xDemi Johns, 1Bottle washing tree, 1x10gaqllon brew bucket with tap, three 5 gallon brewing buckets lids etc, 1x EZ. filter comprises of two ten litre containers one of which has a carbon filter added to final polish the spirits spare filters and a trio of turbo carbon yeast and clear.The T500 will produce 90 to 95% neutral taste spirit (vodka @90% this is 156% proof plus use filtered water or distilled water( the T500 can make it) to reduce ABV to around 40) flavours can be added Whiskey ,gin etc this will also make Liqueurs Baileys etc T500 is the finest piece of equipment I have seen for the small producer. The quality of the alcohol is exceptional. It still benefits with treatment through a EZ Carbon Filter. This increases the taste quality and removes further impurities. In our opinion, this is the finest piece of equipment capable of distilling alcohol to just over 90% ABV. The quality of the alcohol is exceptional The machine is capable of distilling 25 litres of wash in one go and is superb for essential oil extraction ethanol production or alcohol distillation (licence is required in UK). It is illegal to manufacture spirits in the UK without a distiller's licence which is required under the provisions of section 12 of the Alcoholic Liquor Duties Act 1979 and this includes manufacture for "own/domestic use". Public Notice 39 - "Spirits production in the UK" dated April 2010 provides further information about HM Revenue & Customs' requirements. The main reason for the exceptional quality is that the water flow is controlled at all points. It's essential to get a controlled water supply into the column. The water flow connector supply a 20mm adaptor which can be fitted to a tap with an external thread (such as an external washing machine tap). This machine produces 95% yield at 93-95% purity.
